I'm glad to hear you have an interest in Fashion Design. Its not an easy field to be a success and their are a few paths to take. The first thing to do is to learn the trade. Make sure you are familiar with all aspects of Fashion Design. Visit the local library and get books on sewing and seamstress. Also, look at runway shows and observe the lines used by major designers. Look into maybe attending the Fashion Institute of Design. At your age, you can start working towards getting a scholarship. Finally, to really make it, you have to understand the business side including networking with fashion buyers, understanding manufacturing and advertising campaigns.
