I don't think there's much value in doing this at all. Remember, people used to make up formula in large batches (because it was a pain in the ___) and so they had to do it in large batches to make it an efficient process and store a lot - hence it made sense. With instant formula (or expressed ****** milk) I just don't see the point. The human ****** is not sterile and that's what infants have always "eaten from."
