What’s the difference between fashion merchandising and business management?

I would like to open a clothes boutique, so would it be better if I just major in fashion merchandising or both? What’s the difference?

    I suggest fashion merchandising (how to market fashion, specifially)
    Business management is too general for your purpose
    Maybe take a bookkeping class
